NSF Rankings – The National Science Foundation (NSF) ranks UC 44th among all institutions nationally and 24th for all public institutions in the U.S. for federal research and development expenditures. 
Show Stopper – Showcase 2006 attracted more than 2,500 attendees to see over 350 displays and demonstrations of UC’s innovation, scholarship and research impact. - Read All About It– Recently launched UC Research magazine highlights UC’s groundbreaking research and intellectual momentum.
- Innovation Incentive – UC receives $381,000 in the first round of awards from the state to support doctoral education in STEM2 (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs.
