Goal 2: Grow Our Research Excellence

  • UPFulbright Four - Four members of UC faculty received prestigious Fulbright grants, the U.S. government's flagship program in international educational exchange. Faculty members earn grants through a competitive process overseen by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars.
  • C-PawNSF Rankings - UC moved up to No. 22 in federal funding among public research universities, according to the National Science Foundation.
  • UPRecord Research - Total research funding has exceeded $332 million, up nearly four percent. In constant dollars, UC has increased the value of its research portfolio more than any of Ohio's research universities during the past five years.
  • SidewaysGift of Hope - One of our largest-ever gifts will create the Craig and Frances Lindner Center for HOPE, a center of excellence focusing on mental illness.
  • UPMaster Agreements - Research partnerships with major corporate partners like Procter & Gamble and General Electric enhance research collaborations, open new doors and create new opportunities.
