Goal 6: Create Opportunity
Alumni
Recruitment - UC has tapped alumni to boost recruitment nationally
and internationally. We now have more than 30 UC Alumni Recruitment
Team volunteers. In addition to Ohio, we now have reps in Indiana, Florida,
New Jersey, California, Georgia, Missouri, Illinois, South Carolina,
Washington D.C., and Japan.-
We're
All UC - New annual faculty and staff campaign raised over
$6 million to fund scholarships, UC|21 initiatives, research, and more. - Going
the Distance - UC has expanded its distance learning offerings.
Currently 10 colleges, two more than last year, provide 14 distance
learning programs.
- Entrepreneurial
Launch Pad - This initiative pools UC expertise and resources
to provide "lift off" for bright new ideas and cutting-edge
inventions. It will support faculty researchers in early stages of new
business development.
