UC Law's Bettman Named to Statewide Judicial Evaluation Panel

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has appointed UC College of Law faculty member Marianna Brown Bettman to a position as chair of the statewide Ohio Judicial Appointments Recommendation Panel.

Marianna Brown Bettman from the University of Cincinnati's College of Law faculty has been appointed by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland as a chair on the Ohio Judicial Appointments Recommendation Panel.

The panel evaluates the qualifications of applicants for judicial vacancies and then makes non-binding recommendations to the governor for appointment based on their evaluations.
