Gala for Dick Friedman Set for May 22
Senior Assistant Dean Richard "Dick" Friedman, who retires this spring after a memorable 36-year career, will be feted across the campus.
Senior Assistant Dean Richard "Dick" Friedman, who retires this spring after a memorable 36-year career, will be feted across the campus.
To honor his legacy, friends, former students and university colleagues have begun the campaign to create the Richard E. Friedman Scholarship in the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. The scholarship will provide tuition support for graduates from Walnut Hills High School.
In addition, a gala retirement celebration is set for 4:30 p.m. May 22 at the Russell C. Myers Alumni Center.
