Jim Howell

Jim Howell has been a professor in the Division of Professional Practice as a Faculty Cooperative Education Adviser for the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning since 1977. He has been responsible for teaching, advising and placing Interior Design co-op students in the School of Architecture and Interior Design since 1977 and Digital Design co-op students in the School of Design from 1998 to 2003.

He has more than 26 years of experience preparing students and employers for the cooperative education learning experience and administering the placement and progression of students in the program.

Professor Howell has been on the Regional Midwest Cooperative Education Association–Board of Governors for more than ten years and was President in 1990-1991. He has also held various positions on the Ohio Cooperative Education Association Board of Directors for more than five years. He has taught introductory photography classes at the University of Cincinnati for over twenty-five years.
