Leslie Elrod teaches Deviance, Sociology of the Family, Social Psychology, and Introduction to Sociology. Her students engage in service learning projects designed to bring academic theories and concepts to life while extending beyond boundaries in working for local non-profit organizations. Dr. Elrod is also the Director of Service Learning and Civic Engagement at UC Blue Ash as well as the UCBA administrator of the national Presidential Volunteer Service Award. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Elrod volunteers with a variety of non-profit organizations, including the Clermont County Board of Disabilities Behavior Support/Human Rights Committee, Girl Scouts, and the Northeast Community Challenge Coalition, among others. Dr. Elrod received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati. Her M.S. in Social and Applied Economics, M.A. in Applied Behavioral Science and B.S. in Urban Affairs are from Wright State University.
