David Gomez-Cambronero is a Doctoral Graduate Student at the University of Cincinnati’s department of Romance Languages and Literatures. He teaches Spanish language courses, both in the classroom and online, and was the recipient of the University of Cincinnati’s Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching Award in 2013. David is also involved in the Graduate Student Governance Association as a student-faculty liaison, serves as the co-editor of the Cincinnati Romance Review Journal, has acted as Organizing Chair for the annual Romance Languages and Literatures Conference, and will be participating as an assistant for U.C. International’s Madrid Study Abroad Program. Currently, he is in the process of completing his doctoral dissertation on culturally and symbolically marginalized poets in contemporary Spain, and has received various TAFT Awards for conducting field research on the topic.
