Ronnie Semro serves as the assistant director of marketing and strategic communications for the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department. He joined the department as marketing intern in 2010 and was hired as a coordinator of marketing and sales in 2011. He was named to his current position in January 2013.
Semro currently handles group sales as well as in-game marketing and game atmosphere for the Bearcats football and men's basketball contests. He leads all marketing efforts for the UC men's soccer programs, including writing game scripts and marketing plans. Semro oversees UC's electronic communication known as C-Mail as well as youth initiatives under the Future Bearcats program.
He is a 2010 graduate of Marian University earning his bachelor's degree in marketing & sport management. Semro also held an internship with the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2010-2011 season. He plans to pursue his MBA at the University of Cincinnati beginning in the spring.
