![]() Anita ToddAnita Todd, Assistant Professor in the Division of Professional Practice, is the faculty co-op coordinator for the electrical engineering program and assists with the IT and data compiling needs of the division. Professor Todd has been involved with all three corners of the co-op triad. Before becoming an Assistant Professor at UC, she was the Director of the Engineering Cooperative Education and Internship Program at Penn State for more than six years, she employed and trained co-op students as a part of her duties as a product development engineer with Cummins Engine Company in Jamestown, NY, for more than six years, and she was a co-op student as a mechanical engineering undergrad at Penn State, where she graduated with a BSME in 1989. Professor Todd has been actively involved in many local, regional, and national cooperative education organizations. Professor Todd is currently the President of the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA), has presented and held board positions in the American Society of Engineering Education Cooperative Education Division (ASEE/CED), and the Pennsylvania Association for Colleges and Employers. She recently joined the Ohio Cooperative Education Association (OCEA) and the Mid-West Cooperative Education Association (MCEA) with her move to Cincinnati. Professor Todd also has an interest in attracting more women to engineering and technology fields and enjoys working with programs that promote and support this initiative. She is the faculty advisor for the Society of Women Engineers section at UC, and is actively involved in the local and regional professional sections. Professor Todd is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at UC. Professor Todd was awarded the 2004 Dean Herman Schneider Award, the highest award for educators in the field of cooperative education and internships, presented by the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA). Professor Todd is married with two sons and two dogs. She enjoys golf, volleyball, aerobics, gardening, movies, and theater.
