![]() William J. Walters, P.E.Professor Bill Walters is one of the newest additions to the Department of Professional Practice joining the Faculty in September 2004. He earned degrees in AMET from UC College of Applied Science and a BSME from UC. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio. Bill brings with him over 30 years of industrial manufacturing experience in varying positions from Lead Engineer, Plant Engineer, Engineering Manager, to Plant Manager with large corporations. He has worked for Proctor & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, Unilever and Quaker Chemical. In all of these positions, Bill has mentored and managed both Co-Ops and interns from the employer’s perspective. He came to this position specifically to impart his industrial knowledge to students seeking employment, helping them maximize their learning experience. Still active in the community, Bill is a high school girls’ basketball coach in the CYO league, and is a member of some local church and civic groups. Bill and his wife Judy returned home to Cincinnati after 25 years of assignments across the country. Their five children graduated from 3 universities, Kettering U, Cal State Fullerton and Indiana U. When not working, they enjoy golf and travel, especially visiting family all over the country.
