SEM Admissions and Appeals Committee
Charge: The ARAC will review unusual or special circumstance admissions applications and submit recommendations on the admissibility of students to a baccalaureate program. The committee will review only those applications of students referred by the Office of Admissions or applications of students who appeal the admission decision of the Office of Admissions. The committee will not review decisions by the Office of Admissions to offer admission to an alternate baccalaureate program than that requested by the student. Decisions by the committee will be both binding and final.
• The Committee will meet regularly during peak Admissions season so as not to delay communications with students
• The committee will review success of Academic Success Criteria levels and make recommendations at the conclusion of each admission cycle.
