SEM Processing & Procedures Committee
Charge: Identify and recommend improvements to operations and procedures which affect recruitment, retention and service to students and to contribute to overall SEM planning.
Group uses a review methodology that has proved to be successful; that model includes the following steps:
• Select and describe a processing or procedural issue/problem.
• Interview process owner and other key players.
• Gather documentation (including flowcharting, checking error rates, diagramming causes and effects, benchmarking and surveying "customers").
• Discuss and review.
• Report findings and make recommendations to the SEM Management Team
