Nominate a Champion

An eLearning Champion is someone exemplifies use and integration of UC’s eLearning tools and resources in the classroom. eLearning Champions promote innovation and collaboration in and out of the classroom. They model new techniques, best practices, tools, ideas, and more in an effort to provide UC students with a successful, 21st Century learning experience.

If you know someone at UC who demonstrates these principles, fill out the form below to nominate them to be an eLearning Champion. eLearning Champions are sponsored by the Office of the Provost and eLearning and will have the opportunity to be featured in the Canopy newsletter, UC News and will receive $500.

All nominations are due by the 1st of each month. If you are nominated but are not selected as the eLearning Champion for the month, you may still be considered for future awards.

An eLearning Champion exemplifies one of more of the follow criteria:

  • Goes out of their way to seamlessly integrate Canopy tools into their courses.
  • Exhibits great growth in their use of canopy tools to support their learners in new ways.
  • Is an early adopter of new tools and technology in the classroom.
  • Is involved in the eLearning community—attends Canopy Speaker Series, workshops, trainings, and/or other events put on by the Center for Excellence in eLearning—and shares gained experiences with their colleges and colleagues.
  • Champions the use of emerging technology and existing Canopy tools.
