The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards serves as a resource for outstanding students at the University of Cincinnati who seek to compete for world-renowned and highly competitive scholarships and fellowships. Our goal is to help students build the strongest application possible.
The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards focuses primarily on applications for the Boren, Fulbright, Goldwater, Marshall, Mitchell, Rhodes, Truman and Udall Scholarships. Because these awards do not meet the needs of all of our outstanding students, we provide resources for a variety of other scholarships, fellowships, and grants. Please click on "Additional Distinguished Awards" to explore these options.
NCA also maintains a Blackboard Organization site titled "Student Advising Organization for Pamela Person." This site houses additional resources such as application guides, sample applications, model responses, specific award guidelines, and additional award opportunities on- and off-campus. Some students may already be enrolled in the Blackboard Organization. If you are not a member of our Blackboard Organization and would like to be enrolled, please send a request to nca@uc.edu.
The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards is located in 700 Swift Hall. If you are a student seeking more information about award opportunities, please contact us at nca@uc.edu to set up an advising appointment.
