Office of Nationally Competitive Awards

Announcements

Congratulations to our latest award winners!

University of Cincinnati

The Office of Nationally Competitive Awards at the University of Cincinnati is a resource for outstanding students at the university who seek to compete for the most prestigious and most highly competitive scholarships and fellowships such as the Rhodes and Marshall scholarships for postgraduate study and the Truman and Goldwater scholarships for undergraduate study.  The office is dedicated to identifying, mentoring, and assisting students who are not only exceptional academically, but who are also well rounded individuals who will be tomorrow's leaders and agents of change.

Preparation for nationally competitive awards begins long before the application process. Most successful applicants have a college "résumé" that includes the aspects seen below.

Although only a small percentage of students who apply nationally are awarded one of these scholarships, the benefits of simply applying are many.  Applicants learn how to present themselves more effectively; learn time management and organizational skills; gain experience interviewing and articulating their ideas and vision; learn about themselves; challenge themselves to excel; and  grow--personally and professionally!

The University of Cincinnati's Office of Nationally Competitive Awards seeks to enhance the efforts of our fine students in competing  for national and international scholarships and fellowships.  This website contains information on and links to numerous awards and resources.  For more information, please contact:
