Kyle Quinn, an accounting student in the Lindner College of Business and a member of the Lindner Honors Plus Program,was UC's endorsed candidate for the 2012 Mitchell Scholarship. Kyle was successful in making it to the semi-finalist stage of the competition, which included a video interview. Kyle spent the 2012-2013 academic year studying in Brazil as a recipient of the Boren Scholarship. Kyle studied at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo, Brazil and perfecting his Portuguese. Kyle has an interest in social stustainability projects and wrote about the potential threat of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to U.S. national financial security in his Boren Application. Kyle hopes to become a U.S. Diplomat after graduation. Click here for Kyle's blog!
