I-LEAP is an innovative experiential learning assessment instrument that gathers external reviewers' observations of undergraduate student learning outcomes and skills as demonstrated in contextual learning environments.

The founder of cooperative education, the University of Cincinnati continues to innovate and expand in the realm of experiential education.  From foundations in co-op, experiential education now encompasses an array of pedagogies, including field projects, clinical/practicum experiences, study abroad, service learning, and student research.  In fact, this "reality learning" is required by the University’s General Education Core program to be a component in each student’s undergraduate experience.
