The project will utilize an online questionnaire as part of the assessment of the University of Cincinnati's enterprise solutions options and readiness to implement new system(s).

What is the online questionnaire?

The online questionnaire is a series of web-based questions that stakeholders can log in and complete at their convenience.

What is the purpose of this questionnaire? 

The purpose of the online questionnaire is to quickly gather input from a broad group of stakeholders who use the current legacy systems and who will be affected by the software implementation. The information gathered through this questionnaire will be used with information from interviews and focus group sessions, to evaluate options for enterprise solutions and determine UC's “readiness” to carry out this very important technology project.

How long will it take? 

The questionnaire itself may take up to an hour to complete. You do not have to complete the questionnaire in one sitting. You can log off and log back in at a later time at your convenience.

What will be on the questionnaire? 

There will be a common set of questions for all participants. In addition, there will be questions that will be specific to your role. For example, IT personnel will complete a set of questions. Personnel from functional departments (e.g., finance, human resources, admissions, financial aid, etc.) will complete a different set of questions, and academic personnel will complete yet another set of questions, and so on.

Do I need to prepare? 

Not at all. You will be asked simple questions about the school, your department and role. You will be asked your opinion on a number of issues regarding the current legacy systems, new software implementation and the ability of UC to carry out this project. 

What is the deadline? 

The timeframe to access and complete the online questionnaire will be sent to you via email. 

Will I learn about the results?

Yes. Everyone who participates in the online questionnaire will get a summary of the key findings.
