Phase 3: External Peer Assessment

Phase 3: External Peer Assessment

July 15, 2011 – September 15, 2011

The purpose of this phase is to provide for an external peer review of the program's strengths and weaknesses in support of a nationally competitive model.  The external peer reviewer evaluated the program’s current position and potential trajectory, as defined by the program and assessed by the dean. The external peer reviewer had access on the Blackboard Community Site to utilize all historical program resource documents and the prior strategy documents in support of their evaluation.

After the review was completed by the external peer reviewer, the deans and doctoral programs were given the opportunity to comment and provide feedback on the external peer assessmeent. One external peer assessment for each program was secured.
