Phase 5: Graduate School Assessment

December 1, 2011 – Mid-May 2012

Following a thorough review of all relevant materials, the Interim Dean of the Graduate School and the Interim Vice President of Research sorted each of the 52 research doctoral programs into one of three categories:

1) enhance

2) maintain

3) reorganize 

The New Program Committee, a working group of the Graduate Council and an advisory body to the Graduate School, then reviewed these recommendations and provided input to the Graduate School. The deans and doctoral programs were then given the opportunity to comment and provide feedback on the Graduate School Assessment.  This feedback was added to the Blackboard Community Site and was forwarded to the Provost by mid-May.
