Career Development Services
The Career Development Center is the centralized, comprehensive career services center where undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni of the University of Cincinnati are "first" in our focus and commitment. CDC produces several major career fairs; courses in decision-making, career planning, and career development; career-related educational programs and workshops; as well as the On Campus Recruiting program, to aid UC students in identifying and achieving their career goals.
Center for Community Engagement
We provide opportunities for students to participate service learning and other community-engagement learning opportunities.
Cincinnatus
The Cincinnatus Scholarship Competition is not just another scholarship program. With its focus on community service, students turn their unique experience, aptitudes, and abilities into a quality education at the University of Cincinnati.
Experiential Learning and Co-op Programs
UC academic programs are designed to help you integrate theory with practice. Our goal is to help you graduate with work experience to go with your UC degree.
First-Year Experience Programs & Learning Communities
Learning Communities are groups of 12-25 students with common interests who take two or more courses together. There are more than 100 different learning communities at UC comprising more than 1700 students from almost all of our schools and colleges.
International and Study Abroad Programs
All UC students can study abroad and have the credit from their program transfer back to UC and even apply to their major, minor, or other general education requirements.
Just Community
Just Community is a major initiative to create cohesiveness, appreciation for diversity and a sense of pride among students, faculty, and employees at the University of Cincinnati. Undergraduate Research
Undergraduate research opportunities at the University of Cincinnati offer students the chance to work one-on-one with faculty and other student-researchers in more than 250 degree programs. Opportunities within various colleges or through cooperative education, research assistantships or summer research experiences, give students the chance to fit research into their academic careers no matter what their individual needs may be.
University Honors Program
The University of Cincinnati Honors Program comprises over 2100 academically talented and motivated students who want the most from their college experience. The Honors Program enriches the educational experience of top students through curricular and co-curricular opportunities.
