MLTI1001 - Spring 2014
Open to 2nd year Nursing and Criminal Justice students at UCBA!
Put your knowledge and skills to the test working with persons in the criminal justice system with chemical dependency issues. Poverty, low education levels and substance abuse are inextricably linked to poor health. The combination also makes it more likely for people to come in contact with the criminal justice system. Students will work together to confront the complex problem of poor health of men in a court-ordered community drug treatment program.
This course counts as a Humanities elective for the UC RN-BSN program and as an elective for Pre-Criminal Justice or the Criminal Justice Baccalaureate Program.
