UC Forward represents a fundamental change in the preparation of our students—to be unafraid to meet tomorrow’s challenges—by structuring a variety of interdisciplinary collaborative educational experiences today.

This initiative focuses its research and teaching efforts around solving real world problems—as well as grand challenges—from creating culturally sustainable water filtration systems in Tanzania and emerging regions to product development for aging baby-boomers around the world.
