The Provost’s Committee on Faculty Diversity provides small one-time grant funds to academic units for the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty.
The Ohio Leadership Academy, an initiative of the Ohio Inter-University Council, prepares academics for leadership of Ohio’s colleges and universities. Through a series of conferences, retreats, and week-long visits to other institutions, one UC faculty member participates in each annual program.
The Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Institutes provide “residential professional development … for women in mid- and senior-level positions in higher education administration.” The Provost’s Office nominates and supports the participation of one UC faculty member in the annual program.
