New Undergraduate Degree

Three broad stages are involved to initiate a new undergraduate degree program:

1. Preparation of Letter of Intent

2. Preparation of Full Proposal

3. Program Authorization

Approval Process for New Undergraduate Programs

Please note that only the Provost Office is authorized to submit the letter of intent and full program proposal to the Ohio Board of Regents (OBR) for review and authorization.

1. LETTER OF INTENT

 

  When to submit a letter of intent?

This stage involves the preparation of the following documents:

  Endorsement Page

 


2. FULL PROPOSAL

 

If you are creating a request for Interdisciplinary or Multidisciplinary programs, please read the Interdisciplinary Document

A full proposal should be submitted to the OBR within one year of submitting the letter of intent.  This stage involves the preparation of the following documents:

3. PROGRAM AUTHORIZATION
