This is the first point of contact by telephone that most students and employees have with Public Safety. The Communications Center consists of dispatchers that answer all 911 emergency calls and non-emergency calls.
We also provide the following services:
►Answer non-emergency lines for Public Safety, help phones, elevator phones, as well as work control after hours.
►Radio dispatch for police, security, fire, parking and ambulance services.
►Monitor the fire, access control, intrusion, and hold-up alarms across the campuses.
Performing these tasks are dedicated dispatchers who work around the clock, 365 days a year. All of our dispatchers are certified by APCO, (the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials).
