Campus Safety Report
The University of Cincinnati is the second largest university in Ohio with a campus enrollment of more than 42,000 students from throughout Ohio, the United States, and 100 foreign countries. The university branches out to different communities within the area. Besides the Uptown Victory Parkway campuses, there are regional campuses in Blue Ash (UC Blue Ash) and Clermont County (UC Clermont).
The university employs many people to keep the campus safe and secure. The departments of Environmental Health and Safety Operations, Facilities Management and the University Police provide for student and employee safety and security.
It is the intent of the university to continue and enhance current safety and security education and awareness programs throughout the year. The purpose of these programs is to assure that the campus community frequently receives information and instruction on university crime and safety policies and procedures, and on drug and alcohol control and prevention.
A safe campus can be achieved only with the cooperation of the entire campus community. The university hopes you will read and become familiar with this material and be responsible for your own safety and the security of others.
This report is prepared annually by the University of Cincinnati Public Safety in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
