Policy and Procedure
* A criminal history check shall be conducted prior to the hiring of an
external candidate into all positions at the University, except full
time faculty and student employees which are currently being reviewed.
Departments may check student employees as the review is in process.
* A driving record history check shall be conducted prior to the hiring
of an external candidate for any driving positions at the University,
except full time faculty and student employees which are currently
being reviewed. Departments may check student employees as the review
is in process.
* Only employee recommendations resulting
from criminal history checks conducted by the University of Cincinnati,
Department of Public Safety will be accepted by Employment Services.
