Protections Systems staff are responsible for all of the fire alarm systems across the University and provide the following services.

• Maintenance, testing and inspections of over 15,000 fire alarm devices.
• Response to trouble calls from users.
• Design and installation of new systems.
• Response to fire alarms.
• Training and education for the users of protection and fire systems.
