Payroll Deduction
Parking Fees/ Deductions/Decal Eligibility:
Two forms of payment for parking exist:
- Payroll Deduction: May be used for full-time and 50
percent FTE part-time employees. Employees appointed as students are not
eligible for payroll deduction. It is the employee's responsibility to
monitor his/her pay check to ensure proper deductions are being made for
the parking fee. It is the employee's responsibility to return the access
card, decal or permit to the Parking Office to stop payroll deductions.
Irregularities must be reported to Parking Services. Failure to do so does
not relieve the employee of the responsibility for payment of the correct
fee and/or back parking charges.
- Payment: Individuals not eligible for payroll
deductions (i.e., students, fellows, visiting faculty, contractors, etc.)
must pay in advance to Parking Services for parking privileges. Payments
can be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover
Card. Student decals may be purchased on either a quarterly or academic
year basis. Academic year decals are honored fall, winter, and spring
quarters. A separate parking permit is required for summer parking.
Temporary staff permits (contractors, visiting faculty, temporary
employees, etc.) may be purchased on a weekly or monthly basis.
