REACH will provide presentations in 450 University Hall on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month, the Leadership and Caregiver series on the 2nd Monday of each month, or we can present to individual departments. How Can We Help?
REACH offers short-term counseling, assessment for mental health and substance abuse concerns and assistance with work related problems or personal issues. We provide confidential sessions for University of Cincinnati employees and their dependents. We facilitate change for the UC community by assisting supervisors, directors, managers and deans in recognizing employees who may be struggling with personal issues that are affecting their job performance.
Who is Eligible?
All UC employees, including faculty, staff and their dependents. REACH is a cost-free confidential service offered as part of your benefits. There is no charge for our services to employees or their dependents. Students who are mandated for services will incur fees for our programs. Non-mandated students should contact University Health Services (513-556-2564) or The University of Cincinnati Counseling Center (513-556-0648) for appointments.
What About Confidentiality?
The foundation of REACH is the confidentiality of its services. All Information disclosed in the counseling session is confidential and will not be released to anyone outside of REACH without written permission from the client.
Exceptions, as required by law, may occur when:

There is serious danger of violence toward another. |

|
Self-injury is likely unless protective measures are taken. |
| 3. |
|
There is reason to believe that abuse of a child or elder person has occurred. |
| 4. |
|
Ordered by a Federal or State court. |
Hours of Operation
REACH staff are available from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday. Additional times are available to employees by request. Employees may contact REACH by phone 24-hours a day. Please call 911 or go to the closest Emergency Room if you have an immediate emergency.
