US Masters Swimming Program (18+ yrs. old) |
Are you training for a triathlon? Do you like to train or swim with others? Looking to improve your stroke? Want to swim in a competitive environment?
The University of Cincinnati Campus Recreation Center is offering a year round Masters Swimming program. United States Masters Swimming (USMS) exists for anyone who wants to improve their swimming technique and enjoy the fellowship of like minded people. Any swimmer, regardless of ability, can have a goal, and no one's goal is more or less worthy because it is faster or slower than somebody else's. Your goal is just as important to you, and just as worthy.
United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is a national organization that provides organized workouts, competitions, clinics and workshops for adults aged 18 and over. Programs are open to all adult swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive, non-competitive) who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming. The USMS currently has over 40,000 members and while it supports and encourages competition more than half of its members are fitness swimmers who do not compete.
All USMS programs are designed to help swimmers improve fitness and/or train for specific goals, and offer active support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship, and camaraderie.
