Alan Wight

Alan Wight has been a competitive swimmer since the age of 12. He swam for the USS club team Sycamore Flying Fish and the Sycamore Aviators while in High School. He went on to join the Ohio Bobcats and swam under Greg Werner for four years. 

Alan began his coaching career with the Sycamore Flying Fish in 1999 under the tutelage of Dave Lienesch. He coached with the Flying Fish during the summers until he graduated from Ohio University in 2003. Upon returning to Cincinnati from Athens, Alan took up coaching full time as the Sycamore High School Assistant Coach and the Bronze Age Group Coach for the Flying Fish. He also coached a year of Water Polo for Sycamore High School. 

Alan is excited to be on deck again as the University of Cincinnati’s Masters Swim Team Coach.
