Kim Schmidt
Director of Campus Recreation
Kim is a 17-year veteran of the University of Cincinnati. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Science Degree in Sports Management. A Certified Recreational Sports Specialists (C.R.S.S.), she is a former National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) State Director for Ohio and former Ohio Recreational Sports Association (ORSA) Honor Award recipient. Kim enjoys  mountain bike riding, hanging out with family and friends, and playing soccer with her dog Brodie.

Kendra Violet
Associate Director of Facilities and Operations
Prior to working at the University of Cincinnati, Kendra served as Operations Manager for the California Fitness Health Clubs in Columbus, Ohio.  Kendra is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with two Bachelor Degrees in Biology and Health Promotion and Education, and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Health Promotions and Education. Kendra’s love for recreation began as an undergraduate student while working for the Recreational Sports department at UC. Kendra still enjoys playing intramural sports with her student employees and taking Hip Hop and Latin Dance classes!

Carolyn Nickol
Associate Director of Programs and Marketing
Carolyn has enjoyed working at the University of Cincinnati since 1985 promoting health and fitness to students, faculty, staff, and the UC community.  Prior to joining the Campus Recreation Center, she directed the University Fitness program at the UC Academic Health Center.  Carolyn received two Master Degrees in Community Health Education and Nutrition Education. Carolyn’s favorite outdoor activities include gardening, golfing, tennis, and fishing with her family.

Amy Fawcett 
Assistant Director of Intramural Sports and Summer Camps
Amy earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin (Eau Claire) and her master’s degree in athletic administration from Ball State University. Prior to coming to the University of Cincinnati, Amy was the coordinator of intramural sports, summer camps, and sports clubs at Northern Illinois University.  Amy is a huge Green Bay Packer fan and enjoys playing and watching golf, football, and officiating basketball and softball.

Jim Jamriska 
Assistant Director of Facility Operations
Jim has been the Assistant Director for Facility Operations since November 2006. His duties include managing the facility rentals, day-to-day operations of the Campus Recreation Center and Fitness Center at CARE Crawley and the Climbing Wall. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ball State University and had his first professional position at The Ohio State University. In spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and watching anything related to the Cubs and Bears.

Kevin Mailly 
Assistant Director of Aquatics
Kevin has over 20 years in the recreation profession and had been identified as a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional.  He graduated for Ohio University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in recreation management, and his master’s in physical education. Kevin has received a 25-year pin for his volunteer work with the American Red Cross.

Emily Piercey 
Assistant Director of Member Services
Emily has worked for the Campus Recreation Department for the past 5 years. She went from member services, to building supervisor, and now is serving as the Assistant Director of Member Services. She graduated from UC in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  Emily enjoys shopping for shoes, yelling "Who-Dey" chants, and dancing to polka bands.

Ashley Berberich
Coordinator of Fitness and Wellness
Ashley has worked at the rec for the past three years with overlapping responsibilities as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and group fitness supervisor while finishing school.  She has earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Sports and Biomechanics, and her Master's of Education in Health Promotion and Education, focus area in Community Health, here at the University of Cincinnati.  Ashley enjoys camping, SCUBA diving,dancing and spending time with her family.

Jayme Johnson
Coordinator of Facilities
Jayme holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition & fitness from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in exercise science from Miami University.  Prior to joining the staff at CRC, Jayme was the program manager of personal training and equipment at University Fitness on UC’s east campus.  He enjoys golf, Starbucks, NASCAR, corn hole, college football, and spending time with his family.

Erin Kujundzic
Coordinator of Member Services
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Louisville.  She enjoys snowboarding, playing cornhole and hanging out with friends and family.

Carol Wolkoff
Coordinator of Aquatics
Carol has over 25 years experience in aquatics as a learn-to-swim director, coach, pool manager, LGI, WSI and lifeguard.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Masters Degree in Sports Administration/Facility Management from Ohio University.  Carol is currently the Sycamore Jr. High School swim coach and an assistant coach for the high school team.  In her free time, Carol enjoys being with friends and family and especially watching her children compete in their various sports.
