Membership Cards
  • A valid CRC member ID card must be presented at the CRC Member Services Desk for admittance.  Any CRC ID that is presented by someone other than the rightful owner will be confiscated. 
  • UC student and employee members will use University of Cincinnati ID cards for entrance to the CRC.  All non-affiliate/non-university ID holders will be issued Campus Recreation Center membership cards.  Cards will be issued at the time of initial membership application.
  • Campus Recreation Center staff reserve the right to request identification at any time. 
  • Campus Recreation is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged ID cards.  There is a $10 fee for replacement cards. 
Renewal / Cancellation of Memberships
Annual memberships expire one year from the date of purchase.  However, CRC annual memberships purchased with payroll deduction or EFT (electronic funds transfer) will automatically continue unless the member notifies Member Services in writing by the 14th of the month prior to the effective cancellation month. Cancellation of payroll deduction must coincide with the terms of the agreed-upon membership term.  Upon cancellation, all outstanding fees must be paid in full.
Suspension / Termination of Memberships
Campus Recreation has the right to suspend or terminate CRC memberships for violations of CRC policies or posted rules, failure to pay dues or student fees, or actions which violate any federal, state, or local laws.  Additionally, all UC students must abide by the University of Cincinnati’s Student Code of Conduct.  Consequences of violations may include suspension or termination of CRC access privileges and (for UC students) referral to Judicial Affairs.
Transferring / Refunding / “Freezing” Memberships
  • A CRC membership is non-transferable and membership privileges are to be used only by the person to whom the membership was issued.  
  •  A CRC membership is non-refundable unless cancelled within three (3) days of purchase.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Assistant Director of Member Services. A $50 service charge will apply.
  • Memberships may not be “frozen” (i.e., maintained as inactive and unexpired) except in the case of a documented sabbatical (UC faculty only).  A $50 service charge will apply.
