Intramural Sports
Mission
Intramural sports are designed to provide UC students and employees who are Campus Recreation members an opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive sports in a FUN, safe, and structured environment. Participants compete in men’s, women’s, fraternity, sorority, or co-ed divisions. Register for all events at the Campus Recreation Center Administrative Suite, Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Team representative meetings are mandatory for all teams in order to qualify for playoffs. If you’re interested in more information or in becoming an Intramural Sports official, please call 513-556-5706.
Team Representative Meeting A member of your team must attend a mandatory team representative meeting. Failure to attend the meeting will result in your team being ineligible for post-season play. Click here for more information on dates, times, and locations.
Sportsmanship Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. A team must average a “B” sportsmanship rating throughout the regular season to qualify for playoffs. Please consult the intramural handbook at www.uc.edu/reccenter for more information.
Weather Hotline If there is inclement weather, please call 513-556-4FUN (4386).
Assumption of Risk Participation in intramural sports is completely voluntary. Each participating individual assumes the risk of harm or injury. Therefore, it is strongly encouraged that each individual have sufficient health insurance coverage. Each participant is encouraged to have a thorough physical exam prior to competing in any activity or starting an exercise program. Participants should report injuries to the Intramural Supervisor immediately and should complete an injury report.
