The Campus Recreation Department would like to welcome you to the University of Cincinnati and the Campus Recreation Center! As a summer conference group with UC Housing, you will have access to our facilities at a discounted rate. This website will give you the following information in order to make an informed decision on what is best for your group:

Rules & Regulations Summary
The following is a summary of rules and regulations that need to be kept in mind. Members and guests are responsible for knowing the complete Rules and Regulations for Campus Recreation. Click here for a complete list of Rules & Regulations Access:
- All participants must read and sign a Waiver of Liability to access the Campus Recreation Center and the Fitness Center. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Children 13 years of age and younger: 1) must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times; 2) may access all areas of the Campus Recreation Center except the fitness floor; and 3) do not have access to the Fitness Center.
- Individuals 14-17 years of age may access all areas; however, an adult responsible for them must be present in the facility throughout their stay.
- All individuals must present a valid member ID for access. Individuals with a UC ID will have membership privileges assigned to the ID. Individuals without a UC ID will receive a CRC Membership card. Identification presented by someone other than the rightful owner will be confiscated.
- Campus Recreation is a family-friendly environment. Participants are expected to act responsibly and respect the rights of others. Those engaging in unacceptable or irresponsible behavior may have their access to facilities revoked or modified indefinitely.
Climbing Wall:
- All participants must read and understand the climbing rules and sign a Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk before being allowed to climb. Individuals under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- The number of climbers at any one time may be limited to ensure proper supervision.
- Climbers may not boulder more than 10’ above the floor.
- There is a rental charge for climbing harnesses; however, bouldering is free. For more information on the climbing wall, visit our website at http://www.uc.edu/reccenter/programming/wall/default.html

Reminders
- Athletic attire and protective, closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn at all times.
- Personal belongings should be secured in lockers. At the Campus Recreation Center, Individuals may bring their own lock to use on a daily basis (items must be removed when the individual leaves the Campus Recreation Center). Locks may also be purchased at the Member Services Desk for $5.99/each plus tax. At the Fitness Center, day use lockers are coin operated. The quarter will be returned to you upon retreival of your belongings.
- Individuals should bring their own swimsuits and towels. Towel Service is available for $2 per towel per day.

Membership/Rental Options Please review the options below to find out what works best for your organization!
Option 1: Conference Group pays for attendee memberships.
A conference group may choose to purchase memberships for their attendees. The cost of membership is $10.00 per week (including partial weeks) per attendee, and the cost must be paid in full up front. The group may pay by cash, check, credit card, or NIU. If the group prefers, they may give us an account number and we can do an electronic transfer of funds. Please complete the following steps:
1. Complete Roster List 2. At least one week before the conference begins, send roster list and payment to: University of Cincinnati or ML 0017 Campus Recreation Center Kendra Violet Attn: Kendra Violet 2820 Bearcat Way Cincinnati, OH 45221-0017 3. Give General Waiver of Liability to conference attendees and have them sign. Anyone under the age of 18 should receive the General Waiver of Liability and Climbing Wall Waiver before attending the conference because they will need to have a parent or legal guardian sign. Please remember access for individuals under the age of 18 is limited to the rules and regulations listed above. All waivers should be collected and turned over to the Campus Recreation Center by or on the first day of the Conference. *Consent Waiver *Climbing Wall Waiver 4. Any updates to the roster list should be made once per week, and emailed to Kendra Violet by 10:00am on Mondays. Individuals will not receive access until they are listed on an official roster and the roster is placed at the Member Services Desk. Any additional charges will be calculated and invoiced to the group at the conclusion of the conference.
Option 2: Conference attendees pay for their own membership.
A conference group may choose not to purchase memberships for their attendees, but instead have the attendee pay for the membership him/herself. The cost of membership is $10.00 per week (including partial weeks) per attendee, and the cost must be paid in full up front by the attendee. If financially advantageous, individuals that are students at other universities may choose to purchase a summer membership for $99, with a valid university ID. Please complete the following steps:
1. If the individuals are under the age of 18, they will need to bring a General Waiver of Liability and Climbing Wall Waiver with them that are signed by a parent or legal guardian. OPTIONAL Option 3: Rentals for one-time or infrequent use Groups may choose to not take advantage of the membership program, but would still like the opportunity to use the Campus Recreation Center.
