South Africa Shoe Drive - Spring Quarter

The Share Your Soles shoe drive is in collaboration with Crossroads Church.  Crossroads has a partnership with Charity & Faith Mission Church in Mamelodi, South Africa.  Mamelodi is a township community of nearly 1 million people that is being ravaged by HIV/AIDS, crushing unemployment and poverty, and a population of orphans that is growing exponentially. Charity & Faith, however, is a light for this impoverished township and we are doing whatever we can to help them succeed in bringing healing and relief to the hurting people of Mamelodi.   Crossroads has sent over 1,000 people to Mamelodi in the past 3 years to build homes, plant food, transfer much needed skills, love on kids, and, most importantly, build relationships with our friends in South Africa.  The next trip is scheduled for April 2010 and all of your donated shoes will be distributed on that trip.  For more information, visit www.crossroads.net/gomamelodi.
