Job Description
This candidate must be willing and able to work with children of all ages and disabilities. Must have a passion for working with children.  Responsible for the health and safety of all campers and fellow counselors.  Must be willing to assist in the development and implementation of all camp programs. Candidate must be creative, outgoing, and have good active listening skills.  Able to develop leadership activities and skills to empower campers ages 6-12.

Starting Pay $8.00 per hour
 
Minimum Qualifications

• Maintain an appropriate level of fitness to allow for participation in all camp activities.
• Willingness to work with children of all ages and disabilities in all camp activities.
• Hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid.  (Camp will provide an opportunity for primary or re-certification during REC Kids Camp training week).
• Pass the required Criminal Back Ground Check as a parameter for employment with REC Kids Camp and University of Cincinnati.

Additional Qualifications

• Past experience working with children is highly recommended.

Coordinate, purchase and monitor all snacks, be present during sign in or sign out procedures, coordinate Camper Club activity twice a week, develop relationships with parents and address any issues they may have in a courteous and professional manner, and handling discipline issues.

Starting Pay is $9.00 per hour.
