Yoga & Flexibility

Yoga and flexibility classes, which focuses on movement through stretching and maintaining postures called asanas, can help you to:

  • Release lactic acid build up
  • Decrease tension in muscles
  • Build abdominal strength
  • Increase range of motion
  • Improve posture and balance
Our classes are based on traditional formats like Hatha, Ashtanga and Yin, but formated to fit a recreational fitness center.

Yoga Blast This class will introduce basic yoga postures and flows ad allow those either new to exercise or looking for a less intense practice to get the benefits of strucured breathing, balance and strenght in a Hatha format. 30 min Up to 45
Yoga Strength Strength is needed for every yoga practice, but in this class, it will be the primary objective.  Class will sometimes include the use of props and will focus on building strength and heat throughout the practice. Come ready to work-as you will feel the burn in a whole new way! 45 min Up to 45
Yoga
Flow
The focus of this class is to keep moving through flows by spending time developing the sun salutation.  This practice will get your heart rate up and work your cardiovascular fitness while helping you to increase your strength. 45 min Up to 45
Power
Yoga
Blending strength, cardio and flexibility, this class will more closely resemble a traditional practice. 45 min Up to 45
Yoga Groovin Flow This class will be similar to our yoga flow, but will have a different focus on the music-R&B and other formats will be played to help you loosen up and just flow! 45 min Up to 45
Weekend Warrior Yoga This class is a blend of flow and strength moves to make you feel great-whether you're a regular yoga or a "Weekend Warrior." 45 min Up to 45
Yoga DJ
This class will set the tone with music that you can even help choose.  A format that will incorporate flows and strength for a rounded workout. 45 min Up to 45
Yogaaah (relaxation)
Wind down at the end of the day with this class that will take it slow and help you to destress.  You'll focus on flexibility and breathing as you relax through the postures. 45 min Up to 45
Yoga Core
Yoga always incorporates the core, but this class will focus on it.  You'll get to do a bit more floor work in this class while getting centered and elongated too! 45 min Up to 45
Yoga Props
Ever wonder what the balls and straps are for? This class will incorporate additional tools including yoga straps, bolsters, blocks, chairs and more to take your yoga practice to a new place! 45 min Up to 45
