All Campus Recreation trainers hold at least one nationally recognized certification, and are either working on or have completed a degree in a related field.
Alexandra is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) with a Bachelors Degree from Ohio University and currently pursuing a Masters in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Cincinnati. She enjoys staying active and discovering new ways to stay fit and live a healthy life. As a personal trainer, she enjoys sharing her passion for fitness and health with clients and teaching them safe and effective ways to maintain a healthy life and reach their fitness goals. Alexandra's training style incorporates boot camp workouts and interval training. Availability: Alexandra is available morning and afternoons during the week and various times during the weekend.
Ashley is a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA and is currently pursuing a career in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Ashley also works as a Fitness Floor Coordinator and is currently an active member of the Club Swim Team. Ashley competed at the state level in swimming and track and has experience teaching swim lessons. She enjoys working out and loves using fitness as her stress reliever. Her favorite way of training involves various activities to challenge her body physically and mentally. Her main focus as a trainer is to help clients keep a positive attitude about fitness and gain confidence in the gym to further help them live a long and healthy life. Availability: Ashley is available at various times during the week and weekends.
Hannah is a certified Personal Trainer through The National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA), and is currently a third year Food/Nutrition and Exercise Science student at the University of Cincinnati.
Hannah also teaches Group Fitness classes at the UC Recreation Center as well as works as a Fitness Floor Coordinator.
Hannah enjoys staying fit through all sorts of activities from running and biking, to rock-climbing and wakeboarding. She also has a strong background in dance.
Her main focus as a trainer is to help clients reach their personal fitness goals and gain a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
Availability: Hannah is available at various times during the week and weekends.
Joe is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and is currently pursuing a Pre-Physical Therapy undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati. Joe enjoys sports, outdoor activities, working out and working with his clients. Joe loves coaching clients to reach their fitness goals through building functional strength for a healthy, active lifestyle.
Availability: Joe is available to take clients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from morning to mid-afternoon and Saturday mornings.
Kelley is a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA, and has also completed the TRX Suspension Training Course. She is currently a third-year Health Promotion Exercise and Fitness student at the University of Cincinnati.
Kelley also works as a Fitness Floor Coordinator and Group Fitness Instructor at the Campus Recreation Center. Kelley competed at the state level in swimming and has experience teaching swim lessons. She enjoys attending various group fitness classes and learning new exercises. Her favorite training style is circuit or interval training to keep up the intensity! Kelley’s specialty is helping clients stay committed to their goals by providing clients with the knowledge and skills to maintain their success in the future.Availability: Kelley is available at various times during the week and weekends.
Kolin is a certified personal trainer through the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA).
He is an undergraduate student at the University of Cincinnati and has also completed the UC CRC Personal Trainer Education Program. Kolin also works as a Fitness Floor Coordinator at the Campus Recreation Center.
He enjoys working out and is passionate about sharing his excitement and knowledge about fitness.
Kolin's specialty is working with clients that need that "extra push" to reach their fitness goals and considers himself an excellent motivator!
He is certified through the American Council on Exercise, TRX and holds an B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Justin studied personal training and gained experience in Las Vegas, Nevada after he graduated college.
Fit Facts: Justin enjoys competing in half-marathons, marathons, triathlons and Time Trial cycling. Specialty: TRX, Running mechanics, Chi running technique and minimalist running. Justin's goal as a trainer is to help you overcome your personal barriers by not only focusing on physical training, but the psychological training as well. Availability: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
Libby was born and raised in Cincinnati and has always led an active lifestyle. An athlete her entire life, she attended Ursuline Academy where she played field hockey and lacrosse. She continued her field hockey career at Kent State University and graduated with a degree in communications. She continues to be active and promotes this lifestyle with her ACE personal training and group fitness certifications along with her spinning certification. Libby has trained various age groups and coaches the Ursuline JV field hockey team. Her specialties are sport specific training and functional fitness. She is currently working on her masters at the University of Cincinnati in Health Education/Health Promotion while she trains for her first full marathon. She is very passionate about coaching people to achieve their fitness goals and promotes healthy habits.
Paige is a certified trainer through the American Council on Exercise and has been training for nearly three years in Campus Recreation. She also holds certifications in TRX, Spinning, and YogaFit. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Cincinnati.
Fit Facts: Paige specializes in stabilaztion, stretching, yoga, fitness fundamentals and exercises for all ages. She has worked with clients both individually and in groups from ages 18 - 96.
Availability: Paige is available mornings, afternoons, evenings and on the weekends as well.
Vic is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. He is a past collegiate football player with a B.S. in Health Science at the University of Cincinnati. He is looking to further his education by obtaining a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Vic’s past training experiences range from children to professional athletes with an assortment of fitness goals. He specializes in beginner fitness levels, high intensity training, as well as speed and acceleration development.
Vic’s training philosophy is based around hard work and dedication, and will be that extra motivational factor for you to reach your fitness goals.
Availability: Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
