Courses/Programs Approved for Waiver of Overload Fees

Beginning summer quarter, 2006, there will be an additional credit hour charge for registered hours over 18.

Some courses have been approved so that they will not charge “overload” tuition charges. Courses for which students may register without going into “overload” status:

•  All ROTC (Arm and Air Force) courses

                  15 AF

                  15 MS

• Cooperative Learning (1 credit)  courses

                  Calculus: 20 ENFD 104, 105, 106, 107

                                 15 MATH 200, 201, 202, 203, 204 

                  Physics: 20 ENFD 108, 109, 110, 114, 115

                  Computer Science: 20 ECES 127, 128

• Band – 16 ENSM 171

Several programs have been approved to include hours beyond 18 before an overload is charged:

• M ARCH (Masters in Architecture -23 ARCH) – 20 hours
• MBA (Masters in Business Administration - 22 MBA) – 20 hours
