The Early Intervention (EI) system was permanently discontinued effective May 24, 2011. The EI Advisory Committee has recommended consideration of a replacement system, Early Alert, developed by Starfish Retention Solutions. As a Blackboard plug-in, the Early Alert product offers the advantages of Blackboard course integration with single sign on, a simple user interface, and is complimentary to Starfish CONNECT, currently in use by UC instructors and advisors.
