Final examinations administered earlier than the appointed time, either during the prior week or during the Final Examination Week, are not permitted. Unanimous student approval, faculty convenience, etc., do not justify exceptions to the schedule. The Committee on Calendar and Examinations is the only body authorized to consider examination time changes. Examinations will be held in the regular classrooms unless otherwise notified. Graduate and in-service classes which meet once a week at 4 p.m. will have their examinations from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on their regular class days during the week of June 7. Final exams in evening classes are to be given during the examination week in the regular class and place unless otherwise notified. Courses which have been approved for block examinations will have their examinations on Monday - Thursday, June 7 - 10 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in order to minimize conflict with other class examinations. Only courses in which all sections have agreed to participate in a common examination at a common time are eligible for block examination scheduling. Grade lists must be turned in to the College Office 72 hours after the examination or by noon, Monday, June 14, whichever is earlier. Any student having four examinations on one day can obtain relief from at least one of them; any student having three examinations on one day can request postponement or reassignment of one of them provided it can be worked out with the instructor of one of the courses in question.
