Web Degree Audit for Advisors!

UC is pleased to offer this web tool for advisors to track a student's progress toward their degree requirements.

The capabilities of Web Advisor are being phased in over the next year. The following tips can assist you to best utilize this self-service tool:

• Currently, all students may access a web degree audit.  However, not all degree programs are available as a web degree audit.
• Advisors must have an Advisor ID and PIN to access the application. Requests for access should be emailed to the Registrar's Office at Registrar.Info@uc.edu.
• Upon log in, you should specify the School Code or college in which you advise.
• Enter the student's UCID (without dashes) for which you would like to run a degree audit and press "continue."
• Currently, functionality exists for only three of the menu tabs:
• Student - allows you to select another advisee
• Logout - allows you to sign out of the application
• Audits - allows you to run degree audits or view prior audits
• Click on "Request New" to initiate the audit report.
• The students degree program will display in the section "Run Default Programs." Click on "Submit a New Audit" to produce an audit for that program. If you want to see how the credits may apply to another degree program, go to "Run Selected Program" to select a program.
• Unfortunately, not all degree programs are ready for display at this time. If the student's program name does not appear, you will be able to use 99DEFAULT as the program to receive a complete list of courses and grades. This can assist you in outlining specific degree requirements for the student.
• Contact your college's degree audit representative if you have any questions about the results of the degree audit.
• The degree audit results can take a few minutes to display. Please be patient after hitting the submit button.

NOTE: Degree audits are prepared to assist students and advisors. Every effort has been made to make them as accurate as possible. However, the college office is the final authority in determining completion of degree requirements.
