Season begins:September 2011; UC Bearcats Hockey is scheduled to hold a player prospect camp for returning and incoming players on Saturday, September 10. The first two hour ice time runs from 10am to 12pm. After a two hour break, the camp will resume and operate from 2pm to 4pm. Both skates will take place on the Canadian Rink at The Sphere.

Practice schedule: Monday & Wednesday evenings

Club History: THere has been a competitive club at the university as far back as 1970. The current team is in its 8th season. The Bearcats are members of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA, DII), which according to USA Hockey is the country's fastest growing segment of amateur ice hockey. There are more than 300 ACHA clubs nationwide, which allows the Bearcats to compete against extremely talented competition regularly. The 2011-2012 season marks the 2nd year of the Bearcats participation in the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League. They will face many familiar Big East foes, as well as a few taems that the Bearcats have never played before. Be sure to check out the website listed below!
