Club History:  The IDTalso referred to as UC Dhadak is a bollywood fusion team that was founded in 2009 by a group of 15 students.  IDT is composed of members of various backgrounds who bring diverstiy and uniqueness to the team.  Our competing name is UC Dhadak and although we are an Indian dance team, the team is not restricted.  Similar to any fusion team, UC Dhadak combines multiple genres into one performance.  Our genres include hip hop, bollywood, classical, salsa, bhangra, and raas.  Every year we compete in regional fusion competitions that are held to educate people to embrace the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in today's diverse society.

Accomplishments: Fall 2012 - 1st place in Texas Jhalak in Austin which qualified us for Nationals in Miami, FL. UC Dhadak placed 4th at Nationals in Philadelphia, PA. We placed 1st in our Atlanta, GA regional tournament. Traveled to Lexington, Atlanta, NY, Delaware, and Philadelphia for competitions this yar. We performed for community events such as the Association for Indian Physicians Gala, Relay for Life, and Taste of India.
