“The myriad situations that I have experienced while leading and participating in student organizations have provided me with many friendships and fostered a deeper understanding of the complexities of effective communication. As a leader, I have facilitated the diffusion of ideas by catalyzing activities for diverse populations.”
Any and all RAPP intensive graduates are invited to participate in meetings. Most of our meetings are open to the campus and community - if it's not specified "RAPPORT Only," we hope to see anyone and everyone at the meetings!
If you think you will have strong attendance at meetings, you are encouraged to consider participating in the RAPP Social Justice Peer Education Certificate Program, or Social Justice League.
Based on repeated requests ove the past few years, RAPPORT has moved away from every-other-Monday meetings. In 2013-14 we're trying two things:
The annual RAPPORT Retreat will be held Saturday, January 18, to Sunday, January 19.
The RAPP XXIX & RAPPORT Retreat will be held Friday, February 28, to Saturday, March 1.
Information on how to join the retreats will go out approximately one month in advance. Each retreat counts nine hours toward completion of the Social Justice League certificate for those in the RAPPORT Leader track.
Community Service Activities:
Announced via the RAPPORT Listserv at least three weeks in advance, at least one per semester.
