Dr. Eric Abercrumbie serves as the Director of the African American Culture and Research Center and Ethnic Programs and Services at the University of Cincinnati. He also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Africana Studies in the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. He serves as one of the major administrators responsible for representing and advocating for undergraduate students of color. Email:eric.abercrumbie@uc.edu
Mrs. Ewaniki Moore-Hawkins is the Assistant Director of the African American Cultural & Research Center and Ethnic Programs and Services. This Cincinnati native began her professional career at the Univeristy of Cincinnati as a Program Coordinator directly after graduating with her BA in Business. Recently, Ewaniki earned her MBA from UC as well.

P. Eric Watford has served as the Program Coordinator at the African American Cultural and Research Center for 15 years. Eric received his BA in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wilberforce University where he also minored in Music Performance. Eric is an accomplished musician and has performed and recorded with many top Gospel and jazz artists. He also serves as the assistant to the Minister of music at Mt. Zion Woodlawn Baptist Church and owns his own sound and production companies.

Jasmine H. Buxton is a Program Coordinator for the African American Cultural and Research Center.  A native of Dayton, OH, she earned a BA in Black World Studies from Miami University and completed an MS in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University. Jasmine primarily works with student leadership as it relates to diversity, and assists with the AACRC Choir.

Derrick Jenkins is a Program Coordinator for the African American Cultural and Research Center and an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati.  He graduated in 2000 with a BA in African American Studies. Since graduating he has completed an MA in Education and is currently pursuing a PhD. He hopes to eventually become a professor in the discipline of education.
