First Appointment

Call the Counseling Center (513-556-0648) or stop by (316 Dyer Hall) to schedule your first appointment. This appointment lasts about an hour to an hour and a half and is an important exchange of information - about you and your concerns, and about us and how we work. We ask you to come 15 minutes before the scheduled time to read some important information and complete some paperwork. Please bring your insurance card to avoid delays. There is no charge for this first appointment.

We use this appointment to make professional recommendations to you about services to address your concerns. In most cases, we can offer you counseling at the Counseling Center. Sometimes, however, we will think that another setting better meets your needs and we will give you referral information.
